entirety of boxing history.<\/p>\n<p>Davis signed a promotional deal with Mayweather back in 2015, before he won a world title, and \u2018Tank\u2019 went on to a three-division world champion under the tutelage of \u2018TBE\u2019, until their split in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>To this day, Davis is yet to conquer another division, meaning he remains two weights behind when compared to five-division ruler Mayweather, who dominated boxing between super-featherweight and super-welterweight to become boxing\u2019s fourth quintuple champion.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Mayweather is eyeing up further success, having announced a professional comeback nine years after his initial retirement, as he <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/long-read-trail-floyd-mayweather-manny-pacquiao\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">prepares for a rematch with pound-for-pound rival Manny Pacquiao, whom he trumped back in 2015<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although, it is unlikely that Mayweather will pursue world honours in a sixth division, with his rematch with \u2018Pac Man\u2019 expected to take place at welterweight.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, when analysing the career of his former mentor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/i7QSMAVwFDQ\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Davis told BatBoysBaseball<\/a> that only <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/muhammad-ali\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Muhammad Ali<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/mike-tyson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mike Tyson<\/a> are on his level of greatness \u2013 making the 50-0 superstar the greatest non-heavyweight in boxing history in the eyes of the Baltimore-born phenomenon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/boxing\/story\/_\/id\/48016955\/manny-pacquiao-sets-rematch-vs-floyd-mayweather-sept-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The fight against Pacquiao is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 19<\/a>, but Mayweather had also been scheduled for an exhibition contest against fellow legend, <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/boxer\/mike-tyson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mike Tyson<\/a>, along with one against Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis.<\/p>\n<p>As for <a href=\"https:\/\/boxingnewsonline.net\/news\/fight-for-davis-stripped-belt-decided\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Davis, the 31-year-old has been named as the champion-in-recess in
