Boas, porcupines and sloths: Wildlife Festival comes to Abbotsford<\/p>\n

A hands-on animal event is returning to Abbotsford.<\/p>\n
The Wildlife Festival runs April 3 to 5 at the Ag-Rec Building at Abbotsford Exhibition Park, 32470 Haida Drive.<\/p>\n
The interactive, family-friendly event offers guests the rare opportunity to get closer than ever to animals from around the world.<\/p>\n
Visitors can meet a sloth, cuddle a kangaroo, interact with sugar gliders, hug a boa constrictor and see one of the world\u2019s largest porcupines up close.<\/p>\n
The Wildlife Festival travels across Western Canada, bringing immersive animal experiences to communities of all sizes, with a focus on education, conservation, and hands-on learning.<\/p>\n
According to the festival website, many of the animals that are included are rescues from homes that could no longer care for them or \u201cobtained by ethical breeders for education.\u201d<\/p>\n
Show hours in Abbotsford are:<\/p>\n
\u2022 1 to 6:30 p.m. (general admission) and 7 to 9 p.m. (adults only) on Friday;<\/p>\n
\u2022 10 to 11 a.m. (quiet hour \u2013 online only) and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (general admission) on Saturday; and<\/p>\n
\u2022 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (general admission) on Sunday.<\/p>\n
