If you are looking for tickets, you\u2019re out of luck. CHCH News confirmed today it will be a sold out game versus the Athletics.<\/p>\n<p>Today we got a sneak peek of the new renovations and what fans can expect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have Joe Carter\u2019s bat from the walk-off home run to win the World Series in 1993,\u201d said Jeff Holloway, director of special projects for the Toronto Blue Jays.<\/p>\n<p>Those fans lucky enough to get tickets for Friday\u2019s game will get to see the Jays\u2019 two world series trophies and other memorabilia from their playoff teams on the 100 level concourse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have George Bell\u2019s jersey when he fell to his knees to clinch the first American League East Division championship for the Blue Jays in \u201985,\u201d said Holloway.<\/p>\n<p>Fans can expect some new menu items this year when at the ballpark.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKnowing where you come from, going through the seasons, being a Blue Jays fan myself \u2013 it really helps to bring those items to life,\u201d said Mathew Munro, executive chef with Legends Global at the Rogers Centre.<\/p>\n<p>WATCH MORE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chch.com\/chch-news\/community-fighting-to-keep-hamiltons-eastwood-arena-alive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Community fighting to keep Hamilton\u2019s Eastwood Arena alive<\/a><\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve come a long way from Exhibition Stadium when it was either pizza or a hotdog. Some new items this year include beef shawarma in a bowl and a vegetarian steak option.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to fan merchandise, there are many options.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing able to really invest in merch that both men and women can wear not just to the game but also out on the street,\u201d said Andrew Boswell, director of retail and merchandise with the Toronto Blue Jays.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a new luxury spot in the arena called Rogers Terrace. Views from the 200 level premium space behind home plate are sold out and are currently waitlist only.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe greatest news is they don\u2019t need to have the luxury suite if they don\u2019t want to. They don\u2019t need to have the club.
