{"id":561785,"date":"2026-03-26T09:50:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:50:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/561785\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T09:50:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:50:18","slug":"wheeltop-expands-its-challenge-to-sram-and-shimano-with-new-wireless-groupset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/561785\/","title":{"rendered":"Wheeltop expands its challenge to SRAM and Shimano with new wireless groupset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wheeltop is displaying many of its EDS groupsets at this week&#8217;s Taipei International Cycle Show, and nestled away at the back of its stand, we spotted an unreleased TT groupset.<\/p>\n<p>The new groupset looks to use the same derailleurs as the TX road groupset, with the system fully wireless.<\/p>\n<p>The brake levers feature a hydraulic cable port, although there were no callipers on display to match the groupset.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0513-Large.jpeg\" alt=\"Wheeltop EDS TT groupset\" class=\"wp-image-966157\"\/>Wheeltop&#8217;s EDS system covers road, gravel, mountain biking and now TT. Nick Clark \/ Our Media<\/p>\n<p>Buttons on the levers enable you to shift gears when out of the tri-bars, and the blades themselves are made from a carbon fibre composite.<\/p>\n<p>The shifters feature a simple up and down ergonomic, and they both feel good in the hand.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_0514-Large.jpeg\" alt=\"Wheeltop EDS TT groupset\" class=\"wp-image-966158\"\/>We asked to take the plastic wrap off, they said no.
