The system is expected to begin as freezing rain or snow before shifting to plain rain later in the day as temperatures rise above zero. In the meantime, 2 to 4 millimetres of ice could accumulate, leaving streets, highways, and sidewalks coated in a dangerous glaze.<\/p>\n

Friday will see clearing skies but colder air lingering, with a high of minus-1 C. The weekend remains chilly, featuring a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday and a 60 per cent chance of flurries on Sunday with a high near plus 5 C.<\/p>\n
By Monday, a gradual warm-up begins, bringing a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 9 C. Cloudy periods continue into the night, along with a chance of showers and a low of minus-6 C.<\/p>\n
