Sources told <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1toIAbXV80\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Bodyslam.net<\/a> that Gunther\u2019s feud with Dragon Lee was originally intended to lead into a program with Rey Mysterio, culminating in a match at WrestleMania 42. However, Rey has been out of action <a href=\"https:\/\/nodq.com\/news\/update-on-rey-mysterios-recovery-from-injury-that-was-suffered-prior-to-the-2026-wwe-royal-rumble-ple\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">due to a rib injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE sources indicate that Gunther is still expected to play a \u201csubstantial\u201d role at WrestleMania 42 despite his recent absence from television.
