Two individuals have been charged after a busy Osborne Village street was closed<\/a> for a period of time on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On March 25,\u00a0the Winnipeg Police Service\u2019s Guns and Gangs Unit executed a warrant in the Roslyn neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

During the search, officers found\u00a0a firearm, illicit drugs, ammunition and cash. Four individuals were arrested.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Guns and Gangs Unit opened an investigation\u00a0regarding drug trafficking at a residence in the 100 block of Roslyn Road in March 2026.<\/p>\n

Along with the\u00a0Tactical Support Team (TST), West and North District Community Support Units, officers executed two search warrants on the Roslyn Road residence as well as a 2022 Mitsubishi RVR. While the warrants were being executed,\u00a0less-lethal chemical deployment was employed and officers seized the following items:<\/p>\n


\n\tLoaded Smith & Wesson .40 calibre Taurus handgun
\n\tSmall quantity of ammunition
\n\t746 grams Heroin (Estimated Street Value = $410,000)
\n\t367 grams Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $30,000)
\n\t396 grams Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value = $60,000)
\n\t67 grams of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value = $3,400)
\n\tOver $1,200 in Canadian currency
\n\tScale
\n\tPackaging and other drug paraphernalia <\/p>\n

A\u00a037-year-old man\u00a0has been charged with the following:<\/p>\n

\n\tUnauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle
\n\tPossession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
\n\tPossession of Firearm, Restricted\/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
\n\tPossession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking \u2013 Cocaine
\n\tPossession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking \u2013 Heroin
\n\tPossession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking \u2013 Methamphetamine x 2
\n\tPossession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
\n\tPossession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 x 2

\n\tPossession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking \u2013 Methamphetamine
\n\tPossession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
\n\tPossession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 <\/p>\n

Both were detained in custody.<\/p>\n
