The Cleveland Browns have been one of the most intriguing teams to watch during training camp, with ongoing questions surrounding how the quarterback room will ultimately shake out. On Friday, rookie Shedeur Sanders got his opportunity to start in the Browns’ preseason opener. That same morning, his father, Deion Sanders, shared a powerful message about opportunity.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe all have needs & we all desire Opportunity! If given opportunity u may not be where u are now. Opportunity is like the dream we had when we were younger. We must be prepared for the opportunity we’re praying for. The right opportunity will change your life,\u201d Sanders posted.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s safe to say Shedeur made the most of his opportunity. The rookie played three quarters and posted some impressive numbers.<\/p>\n

\u201cSanders had 138 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, as well as picking up 19 rushing yards on four attempts. Sanders completed 14 of his 23 passes,\u201d wrote ClevelandBrowns.com\u2019s Noah Monroe.<\/a><\/p>\n

Former NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert also weighed in, praising Sanders for his poise and command on the field.<\/p>\n
