Former Calgary Stampeders receiver Kamar Jorden has been hired by Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old joins the Devils coaching staff as the team\u2019s special teams coordinator and receivers coach.<\/p>\n

Jorden dressed in 55 regular season for the Stamps from 2014 to 2022<\/a>. He recorded 248 receptions for 3,454 yards with 19 touchdowns and added one rushing major. The six-foot-three, 205-pound target won two Grey Cup rings with Calgary, one in 2014 and the other in 2018. Two times he was named a West Division all-star in 2018 and 2021.<\/p>\n

His most productive CFL season came in 2018, registering 55 catches for 944 yards with six touchdowns in 10 regular season starts prior to suffering a year-ending ACL injury in September. He holds the franchise\u2019s single game receiving yards record with 249 posted in an August 25, 2018 game versus Winnipeg.<\/p>\n

In 2021<\/a>, Jorden earned the Herm Harrison Memorial award<\/a> for outstanding community service.<\/p>\n

After his playing career was over, the Darby, Pennsylvania native became an assistant coach at Unionville High School in 2023 and coached receivers at Albright College in 2025.<\/p>\n
