It is pretty obvious that a call by Marko Miljusevic (a Strong Towns Ottawa board member) for 24-hour bus lanes along Bank Street indicates a complete lack of consideration for the small businesses that pay hefty tax bills and also have seen their revenues decline.<\/p>\n Advertisement 3<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n It is also pretty clear his suggestion that people park on side streets indicates that he is unaware that those parking spots virtually never exist. Perhaps he could recommend flying cars to facilitate better traffic flow.<\/p>\n Let common sense prevail. Small businesses need our support.<\/p>\n BOB ERWIN BREAK IS OVER \u2014 FOR A FEW DAYS<\/p>\n Finally, Emperor Ford has reconvened the Ontario legislature after a break of 14 weeks \u2014 not even a third of a year!<\/p>\n Don\u2019t worry about overexertion, however. The legislature will rise again on 4 June for another break after sitting only 32 days.
