While appearing on Colbert\u2019s show on Wednesday, Brolin\u2019s \u201cWeapons\u201d co-star Julia Garner<\/a> learned that both she and Colbert regularly receive lengthy videos from Brolin \u2014 and announced that she had brought one specifically intended for the host.<\/p>\n

Colbert played the video, in which Brolin asked him how his life was going after CBS controversially canceled his program<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to say, how\u2019s your boat?\u201d Brolin asked<\/a> Colbert in the clip. \u201cNow that you don\u2019t have a job, you\u2019ll be able to spend more time on the boat. But I have an offer for you when I see you. So just know that. And watch the fucking \u2018Goonies,\u2019 man.\u201d<\/p>\n

The latter comment prompted laughter from the crowd, since Colbert had previously told Brolin that he hadn\u2019t seen \u201cThe Goonies\u201d<\/a> \u2014 the beloved coming-of-age adventure classic starring a young Brolin.<\/p>\n

During his appearance<\/a> on Colbert\u2019s show Thursday, Brolin made the soon-to-be-unemployed host his promised offer \u2014 to become his personal assistant. <\/p>\n

After the audience\u2019s laughter subsided, the actor seemed confused when Colbert asked about accompanying job benefits like health insurance.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, that,\u201d Brolin replied. \u201cYes, of course. I thought you meant sexual, and I was like, \u2018No way!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
