Calgary police are looking for two people they say assaulted and robbed a man in the city\u2019s downtown last fall. <\/p>\n
Investigators say just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, a man in his 40s was found in medical distress in the alley behind the Palomino Smokehouse on 7 Avenue SW. <\/p>\n
He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. <\/p>\n
Police open an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man\u2019s injuries. They now believe he was assaulted in the alley and had his personal belongings stolen. <\/p>\n
Investigators say the two suspects left the scene eastbound on 7 Avenue SW. <\/p>\n
The victim has since recovered from his injuries. <\/p>\n
Police are looking for help from the public to identify the pair of suspects. <\/p>\n
The man is described as between 30 and 40 years old, with short, dark hair, a moustache and a large tattoo on the back of his left hand. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, a dark green Reebok shirt, jeans and black-and-white sneakers.<\/p>\n
The woman is \u00a0described as between 25 and 35 years old, with long, brown hair and a slim build. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black puffy coat, black pants, a grey shirt and white shoes.<\/p>\n
