Tiger Woods<\/a> was involved in another crash and has been charged with another count of driving under the influence after an incident in Florida on March 27, and the entire world is in reaction mode \u2014 including the golf<\/a> universe and President of the United States Donald Trump<\/a> himself.<\/p>\n

Trump spoke on the topic Friday, the video of which quickly made the rounds on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel so badly. He\u2019s got some difficulty,\u201d Trump told reporters in Miami<\/a>, per the New York Post. \u201cThere was an accident and that\u2019s all I know. Very close friend of mine. He\u2019s an amazing person, amazing man. But some difficulty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.<\/p>\n

Woods\u2019 vehicle overturned while he was driving in Jupiter, Florida, near his home, according to Martin County Police who responded to the crash and made the subsequent arrest of Woods.<\/p>\n

\u201cMartin County Sheriff John Budensiek said during a Friday evening news conference that it did not appear that Woods was hurt,\u201d WPTV5 reported<\/a>. \u201cBudensiek said Woods complied with a breathalyzer but refused a urine test. Woods faces misdemeanor charges and will be held in the Martin County Jail for at least eight hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

The charges include misdemeanor counts of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.<\/p>\n

Fan reaction was strong on Friday night after news of Woods\u2019 crash and arrest went public.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the DUI reports are true, being a legend doesn\u2019t excuse reckless behavior \u2014 Tiger Woods should be held accountable like anyone else,\u201d one person wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cReally sad how Tiger Woods can never learn smh,\u201d another site user chimed in<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to ask; am I the only one who thinks Tiger Woods needs to give up his car keys?\u201d a third person wrote<\/a>. \u201cAnd with his $$$ he could be driven anywhere & everywhere he needs to go. JT too. People\u2026use your head for something other than a hat rack.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Athletic reported that Woods\u2019 breathalyzer test showed he had not been drinking. However, officers at the scene said he displayed \u201csigns of impairment,\u201d which implies police believe other substances could have been a factor.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Woods did exemplify signs of impairment,\u201d Budensiek said, per The Athletic<\/a>. \u201cThey did several tests on him. He did explain the injuries and surgeries he had, we did take that into account. But they did do some in-depth roadside tests, and when it was determined he was taken under arrest and taken to the Martin County Jail.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police arrested Woods on charges of DUI in 2017 as well, which he ultimately blamed on unexpected effects of pain medication. He was also involved in a serious crash south of Los Angeles in 2021, during which police said the car Woods was driving was likely moving at a \u201crelatively greater speed than normal.\u201d<\/p>\n
