The NASCAR Cup Series<\/a> begins the Watkins Glen race weekend<\/a> with practice and qualifying on Aug. 9 for the Go Bowling at The Glen.<\/p>\n

Shane van Gisbergen<\/a> will be the presumed favorite at every road course race until proven otherwise, though he did miss out on a win here last year with a late-race pass by Chris Buescher.<\/p>\n

Connor Zilisch will race in a fourth Trackhouse entry this weekend, but with three Cup races under his belt, can the 19-year-old test his Xfinity Series road course rival?<\/p>\n
