The Spence-Tszyu showdown is being targeted for July or August, with the AT&T Stadium in Texas being discussed as a leading venue option.<\/p>\n

That said, the American is reportedly open to travelling Down Under \u2013 for the right price.<\/p>\n
Spence hasn\u2019t fought since he was beaten by Terence Crawford in 2023 where he was dropped three times and stopped in their showdown for the undisputed crown.<\/p>\n
In the aftermath of that defeat, many doubted if he would ever return at all given his struggles with injuries and two shocking car accidents away from the ring.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Tszyu has also weathered a bumpy stretch over the past few years, losing three of four after beginning his professional career 24-0.<\/p>\n
After falling short in his rematch with Sebastian Fundora last July, Tszyu reset and returned to the winner\u2019s circle in December with a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Velazquez.<\/p>\n
Asked about a potential Spence showdown, Tszyu told Fox Sports Australia last month: \u201cOh, of course I\u2019d be keen. Are you serious?<\/p>\n
\u201cThat one, if it is to happen, would be a megafight for Australia.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the biggest ever for an Aussie, and up there alongside Jeff Horn versus Manny Pacquiao.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s an intriguing match up too.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd with huge stakes and plenty of questions on both sides.<\/p>\n
\u201cDo I still have it? Does Spence still have it?<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019ll leave all that to my team.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nurja, however, has promised to spoil the party for Tszyu on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n
