{"id":568229,"date":"2026-03-29T08:02:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T08:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/568229\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T08:02:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T08:02:13","slug":"caitlin-clark-indiana-fever-announce-wnba-preseason-matchup-vs-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/568229\/","title":{"rendered":"Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever announce WNBA preseason matchup vs. Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>March 28, 2026, 7:45 a.m. CT<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">As Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever prepare for the 2026 WNBA season, the franchise announced on March 26 the addition of one more matchup to the team\u2019s 2026 preseason schedule, with the Nigeria Women\u2019s National Team visiting Gainbridge Fieldhouse on May 2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">While the Fever&#8217;s complete roster is not yet finalized due to the varying implications of the WNBA&#8217;s looming double-expansion draft, traditional collegiate draft, and free-agency period, Nigeria will enter the matchup currently ranked No. 8 in the world.
