{"id":569375,"date":"2026-03-29T21:02:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T21:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/569375\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T21:02:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T21:02:12","slug":"halton-police-look-for-weapon-in-daytime-oakville-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/569375\/","title":{"rendered":"Halton police look for weapon in daytime Oakville shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Halton police have arrested a man from Brampton in connection with a daytime shooting that took place in Oakville this week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">On Friday, March 27 at 12:05 p.m., a suspect in a vehicle fired several shots at a vehicle behind him on Progress Court, near the South Service Road. He then fled eastbound on the South Service Road towards Fourth Line, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">No one was struck or injured in the incident, which police believe was targeted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Justin Tasevski was arrested by police, following an extensive investigation. Police say the 29-year-old faces the following charges:<\/p>\n<p>2 counts of Attempted Murder2 counts of Discharging a Firearm with IntentUnauthorized Possession of a FirearmFail to Comply with Release Order<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect was being held in custody and appeared before a court on Sunday.
