Officers responded to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a truck at the intersection of Dufferin Avenue and Main Street at around 3 p.m. on Saturday, police said in a news release issued Sunday.<\/p>\n

A section of Dufferin between King and Main streets was blocked off following the collision.<\/a><\/p>\n

The woman died of her injuries.<\/p>\n

They said the driver remained on the scene and was co-operative with the investigation, which is ongoing.<\/p>\n
