The Miami Open presented by Itau<\/a> final between Jannik Sinner<\/a> and Jiri Lehecka<\/a> has resumed after a rain interruption. Sinner won the opening set 6-4 and then after three points in the second set, rain suspended the match for roughly 80 minutes.<\/p>\n

Sinner is seeking to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’, winning Indian Wells and Miami in the same season, while Lehecka is competing in his maiden ATP Masters 1000 final. <\/p>\n

Rain delayed the start by 90 minutes, but once play began, Sinner quickly made inroads on Lehecka, who entered the final unbroken this fortnight, having saved all nine break points he faced across five matches. Meanwhile, in the opening set, Sinner did not drop a point behind his first serve (16\/16), according to Infosys ATP Stats.<\/p>\n
