{"id":569717,"date":"2026-03-30T01:03:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T01:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/569717\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T01:03:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T01:03:11","slug":"suspect-who-allegedly-abducted-sexually-assaulted-woman-in-hamilton-at-large","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/569717\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspect who allegedly abducted, sexually assaulted woman in Hamilton at-large"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police in Hamilton are \u201cactively\u201d searching for a male suspect who allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted a woman late Saturday evening. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident happened in the city\u2019s East Mountain area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators have not said exactly where or when the attack occurred.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to Hamilton Police Service, the victim was walking home when she was forced into a vehicle and driven to a separate location where she was sexually assaulted. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They say what happened \u201cappears to be a targeted incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe victim has been located, and has been medically assessed and released,\u201d police said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect is described as Black male, in his late 20\u2019s to early 30\u2019s with a medium build and standing five foot eight. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect, police, say was operating a vehicle, however they do not have a description available at this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">This investigation is ongoing and anyone with further information is asked to contact Det.
