The 6-foot-1 guard\u2019s contract with the Fever has ended, and she is now an unrestricted free agent ahead of her eighth season in the <a href=\"https:\/\/athlonsports.com\/wnba\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WNBA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cunningham joined Indiana in the offseason via a multi-team trade deal from the Phoenix Mercury. She made an immediate impact for the Fever in Year 1, averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 triples in 25.2 minutes per contest.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Cunningham\u2019s debut campaign in Indiana was cut short by a <a href=\"https:\/\/fever.wnba.com\/news\/indiana-fever-provide-update-on-sophie-cunningham-additional-roster-moves\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">season-ending knee injury<\/a>.
