already existed for the Digital Media and Communications Techniques program<\/a>\u00a0, the new agreement now extends pathways to La Cit\u00e9’s programs in Media Content Creation, Journalism, Advertising and Marketing Communications, as well as Public Relations.<\/p>\nGraduates of these programs who meet the admission requirements will now be able to enter the third\u00a0year\u00a0of the Specialized Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Digital Media at UOF. This will allow them to combine the technical expertise acquired at La Cit\u00e9 with the university training focused on analysis, strategy, and digital innovation offered by UOF. Thanks to the recognition of their college diploma and the university equivalencies granted, these individuals will have the opportunity to earn a dual degree in four years of study, optimizing their academic paths while consolidating their skills.<\/p>\n
This new 2+2 partnership agreement strengthens collaboration between the two institutions and promotes access to university studies in French.<\/p>\n
“The expansion of the agreement concluded in 2022 confirms, once again, the alignment of the programs of UOF and Coll\u00e8ge La Cit\u00e9, allowing students of the College to access a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Digital Media in two years,” argues Hela Zahar, head of the Digital Cultures studies department at UOF.<\/p>\n
“This agreement promotes student mobility and allows students to obtain a specialized bachelor’s degree while recognizing the practical training already acquired at the college level,” emphasizes Lynn Casimiro, President and CEO of Coll\u00e8ge La Cit\u00e9. “This partnership with the Universit\u00e9 de l’Ontario fran\u00e7ais allows our students to develop solid skills in a constantly evolving field.”<\/p>\n
