We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIt is unclear whether Turner suffered the injury on set. According to sources, the shutdown is expected to last two weeks, and the crew will be paid during it. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAmazon MGM Studios, which produces Tomb Raider for Prime Video with Crystal Dynamics,<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/01\/tomb-raider-sophie-turner-lara-croft-prime-video-first-look-1236683987\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> announced on Jan. 15<\/a> the start of production for the long-in-the-works series by releasing a first-look image of Turner as Lara Croft. The show is filming primarily in the U.K. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tTomb Raider is an adaptation of the popular video game franchise about the adventures of archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft. Turner is joined in the cast by Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan,\u00a0Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie and August Wittgenstein.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWaller-Bridge is creator, writer, executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Chad Hodge as co-showrunner and executive producer.
