What followed was a six-year reign. Between 2012 and 2017, Johnson successfully defended his 125-lb title 11 consecutive times. His historic run in the UFC reached a controversial conclusion in 2018, when he lost his title via a split decision to Henry Cejudo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Johnson then moved to ONE Championship in exchange for undefeated welterweight Ben Askren. Competing overseas, Johnson captured both the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix championship and the ONE Flyweight World Title.
