RICHMOND, Ky. \u2013\u00a0Marshall Women’s Golf is back on the course on Monday, taking part in the 2026 Colonel Classic, hosted by Eastern Kentucky.<\/p>\n

Marshall is one of 10 teams competing in the 54-hole event, which got started on Monday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. <\/p>\n

Participants are playing 36 holes on Monday prior to the final round on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n

Competing for the Herd this week are Olivia Kochan<\/a>, Savannah Hawkins<\/a>, Abbey Bull<\/a>, Maddi Hudson<\/a> and Madison Borders<\/a>. Taylor Sargent<\/a> will compete as an individual.<\/p>\n

The Herd is back playing close to home after competing at the MountainView Collegiate in Arizona last week. That tournament featured four nationally-ranked teams. <\/p>\n

In that tournament, Kochan had an Even-par 72 in the second round while Hawkins notched an Even-par 72 in the tournament’s final round, giving them momentum heading into this week’s action. <\/p>\n
