The 22-year-old male was arrested on March 27.<\/p>\n<p>He appeared before court in Alberta and was remanded in preparation for his transfer back to British Columbia.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing and his next court appearance is on March 31.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/vancouver.citynews.ca\/2025\/07\/21\/surrey-police-shots-fired-at-banquet-hall-business\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> incident<\/a> in question happened on July 21, 2025, at a banquet hall located in the area of 81 Avenue and 128 Street.
