(Photo by Chris Hyde\/Getty Images)Source: Getty Images<\/p>\n Asofa-Solomona and Wallace are set to clash for a second time this weekend, having already met in a 2023 exhibition that was waved off in the third round after Asofa-Solomona dropped Wallace.<\/p>\n Wallace has promised things will be different this time, but NAS isn\u2019t convinced.<\/p>\n \u201cAnybody who jumps into the ring is dangerous,\u201d said Asofa-Solomona.<\/p>\n \u201cBut the way he said he\u2019s going to beat me is by \u2018taking me to deep waters\u2019, so I\u2019ll pack my goggles and my bag and bring it up to the Gong.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s not the first time an opponent has questioned Asofa-Solomona\u2019s gas tank \u2013 and it\u2019s not lost on the big man.<\/p>\n \u201cLook, my last opponent said he would take me to deep waters,\u201d the heavyweight told Main Event host Ben Damon <\/a>earlier in the week.<\/p>\n \u201cWe didn\u2019t even make it off the beach \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n While the longtime NRL enforcer is eager to make a statement in boxing, he admits he\u2019s still learning on the job.<\/p>\n \u201cIn this sport, in any sport, I try to be the best I can be,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m such a baby in this sport.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI just need to do my time, feel the ring, be in there with another opponent and really get the experience until I make the next step to so-called \u2018real boxers\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n Former NRL player Jarrod Wallace.Source: News Corp Australia<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m looking to do big things. Hopefully by the end of this year we can have a big fight, or early next year.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked who is on his hit list after Wallace, Big Nasty rattled the names off.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s Big Georgie Boy [George Burgess],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI was supposed to have him this fight\u2026 then Matt Lodge after the NRL season [has finished].<\/p>\n \u201cAnd possibly we can get a big NRL fight at the end of this year, or beginning of next year, with somebody you guys might know.\u201d<\/p>\n Asofa-Solomona is of course referring to footy legend turned pug Paul Gallen. <\/p>\n Only last July, Gallen rolled back the clock to outgun Sonny Bill Williams, adding the New Zealand superstar\u2019s scalp to a hit list that already features the likes of Mark Hunt, Lucas Browne and Junior Paulo.<\/p>\n When recently quizzed by <\/a>Fox Sports Australia<\/a>on whether the Sharks legend is the end goal for No Limit, Asofa-Solomona played it cool.<\/p>\n \u201cAh, look, you hear things,\u201d he grinned. \u201cHear whispers.<\/p>\n \u201cBut who knows? Nothing is ever concrete until that contract is signed.<\/p>\n \u201cBut if the money is right, I think he\u2019ll be keen as.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously you\u2019re not going to fight for marbles.
