SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Following TCU<\/a>‘s 78-52 loss<\/a> to South Carolina<\/a> in the Elite Eight on Monday night, guard Olivia Miles<\/a> said she is “ready for the W at this point.”<\/p>\n

A projected lottery pick, Miles finished her final collegiate game with 18 points and six assists.<\/p>\n

“For me, the next step is the WNBA,” Miles told ESPN. “I’m excited, and I’m grateful that I’ve had my time in college, but I’m ready for the W at this point. It’s not like last year, where I could kind of choose what I wanted to do. My path is more clear this year.”<\/p>\n

After the 2025 season, Miles transferred from Notre Dame<\/a> to TCU and opted to forgo the 2025 WNBA draft. Before Monday night’s game, Miles expressed that coming to TCU allowed her to get her “joy back” and “love basketball again.”<\/p>\n

She said her season at TCU made her feel “inspired” and “motivated” again, especially as she enters the WNBA draft.<\/p>\n

“I feel like I want to go chase after something,” Miles said. “It’s just a newfound fire in my heart, like I said just grateful that I was able to finish my college career with such incredible people. I’ll never forget these little moments and these people that I got to create them with.”<\/p>\n

Starting in all 37 games, Miles became a standout leader for the Horned Frogs, averaging 19.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists.<\/p>\n

In the first round of the NCAA tournament against UC San Diego<\/a>, Miles made history when she recorded her 12th career triple-double. She became only the third player to record multiple triple-doubles in the women’s NCAA tournament (her first was with Notre Dame in 2022), joining Sabrina Ionescu<\/a> and Nicole Powell.<\/p>\n
