MLB<\/a> implemented the ABS challenge system<\/a> in the 2026 season, which allows batters, pitchers and catchers to challenge a ball or strike call made by the plate umpire. Each team receives two challenges per game, and only batters, pitchers and catchers can challenge a call. If a team challenges incorrectly twice, they lose the ability to challenge.<\/p>\n

Here are the rankings for which teams and players are most efficient at making the challenge.<\/p>\n
