Attacker who set woman on fire in Langley sentenced to jail<\/p>\n

A woman who set another woman on fire near the downtown Langley bus loop last year will spend another two years behind bars.<\/p>\n
B.C. Provincial Court records show that Samantha Elizabeth Florence Hall was sentenced to 731 days in jail on March 4, in addition to time already served since her arrest.<\/p>\n
At about 6:30 p.m. on July 12, 2025, a 33-year-old woman was found near Fraser Highway in downtown Langley, suffering from serious burn injuries. She was rushed to hospital and later described by police as being in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Langley RCMP said the victim had been \u201cdeliberately exposed to an unknown substance\u201d and set on fire.<\/p>\n
Hall was arrested on July 15 and charged with aggravated assault. She was held in custody and pleaded guilty on Oct. 21 to the single charge.<\/p>\n
According to court records, Hall was also banned from possession firearms for 10 years.<\/p>\n
Hall, who has also gone by the alias Jocelyn Jackson, is 26 or 27 years old.<\/p>\n
