Two men were injured in a stabbing late Monday evening in Montreal\u2019s Sud-Ouest borough.<\/p>\n
Montreal police say officers were called shortly after 11 p.m. to a bar on Monk Boulevard near Springland Street for reports of a man armed with a knife.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they found a man in his 40s with injuries to his upper and lower body, as well as a 31-year-old man who suffered injuries to his lower body.<\/p>\n
Both were taken to hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Police say the stabbing followed an altercation between the man in his 40s and a suspect. The 31-year-old was injured after intervening. The suspect fled the scene.<\/p>\n
