You hear different stories about his sponsorship, arriving, not arriving,\u201d Brundle said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s certainly not doing a particularly good job. He looked really spectacular in the early days at Williams, didn\u2019t he? Then he crashed a lot at Williams after that. So, it doesn\u2019t bode well. I think 2026 definitely doesn\u2019t bode particularly well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/colapinto-6855636c762a0.jpg@webp.webp\" class=\"w-auto\" alt=\"Flavio Briatore, Alpine F1 team's executive advisor\"\/>Brundle also noted the influence of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpblog.com\/en\/flavio-briatore\" title=\"Flavio Briatore\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Flavio Briatore<\/a>, who is part of Colapinto\u2019s management. \u201cThe trouble is with Flavio, as I know well, you\u2019re a disposable item as a racing driver, generally speaking.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That\u2019s sort of been his MO through the years because this is a competitive business, not a finishing school, something I\u2019ve said many times before. If you don\u2019t deliver, you\u2019re like a light bulb.
