Chael Sonnen has questioned whether or not Tom Aspinall is being used in the Eddie Hearn\/Dana White rivalry.<\/p>\n
As we know, Tom Aspinall is now working with Eddie Hearn in a deal that sent shockwaves through the mixed martial arts community. While the extent of their relationship isn\u2019t 100% clear to some, it\u2019s obvious to see that part of this involves Eddie wanting to get back at Dana White for signing Conor Benn.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t care about Jon Jones, I just care about the belt\u2026 take the belt off of him, give it to me,\u2019\u201d Sonnen said during an interview on Helen Yee\u2019s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n \u201cWe all supported that because Tom was completely correct. Now one year later, Tom is the one who appears to be holding out. Tom is the one to be saying, \u2018I gotta sit down and relook at these contracts.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t blame this on Tom,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut I do fear that Tom is being used. He\u2019s being used in a public fight between Eddie and Dana.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want Tom used like that. If you want to make money, fight. That\u2019s the commodity, that\u2019s how we make money, that\u2019s how we\u2019ve always done it. To sit out and make demands, that\u2019s just not the Tom Aspinall we dealt with a year ago.\u201d<\/p>\n
