Here\u2019s where we\u2019re dining, imbibing and toasting to a new season this April.      <\/p>\n<p>Our favourite season at Vancouver magazine is nearly upon us\u2014and no, we don\u2019t just mean \u201cspring.\u201d Next month, our <a href=\"https:\/\/vanmag.com\/restaurant-awards\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">37th annual Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards<\/a> take shape and everyone (that includes you!) gets to find out which Vancouver restaurants take Gold, Silver and Bronze across 50-plus culinary categories in the city. That said, while <a href=\"https:\/\/vanmag.com\/restaurant-awards\/2026\/2026-vancouver-magazine-restaurant-awards-finalists\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">you can totally read up on the finalists before the big reveal <\/a>(tickets are selling out fast, so if you want a front-row seat, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.ca\/e\/the-2026-vancouver-magazine-restaurant-awards-tickets-1980493887531?sharedid=&amp;irpid=6596656&amp;utm_source=impact&amp;utm_medium=ebaf&amp;utm_campaign=afsp_cual_pmk_pdo_0_us_0_0_bau_0&amp;utm_term=6596656&amp;utm_content=1818732__&amp;aff=ebmkmxperformance&amp;irgwc=1&amp;afsrc=1&amp;irclickid=yeD1vZ2ZJxyZTwBUo4UwyRGlUku1zjzNp3Pb1Q0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">you\u2019d better get on it!<\/a>), there are also tons of fab foodie collaborations, special menus and tastebud-tantalizing events to check out in April so you can experience the best meals in the city and see for yourself if our judges get it right next month.<\/p>\n<p>First thing\u2019s first\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/vanmag.com\/taste\/general\/eat-through-sakura-cherry-blossom-festival-vancouver-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cherry blossom season is still going strong<\/a> from the end of March, and you can find plenty of sakura-themed treats and bento boxes across the city.<\/p>\n<p>Suyo con Amigos: Suyo X Pluvio<\/p>\n<p>Chef Ricardo Valverde and the Suyo team welcome Chef Warren Barr of Ucluelet\u2019s Pluvio restaurant and rooms to create an inspired West Coast-meets modern Peruvian menu in a one-night-only event. Only 40 seats are available per seating.
