{"id":573662,"date":"2026-03-31T20:58:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T20:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/573662\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T20:58:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T20:58:13","slug":"transit-switches-to-spring-schedule-winnipeg-free-press","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/573662\/","title":{"rendered":"Transit switches to spring schedule \u2013 Winnipeg Free Press"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Winnipeg Transit is adding rides and post-midnight service to routes across the city.<\/p>\n<p>Starting April 12, in line with Transit\u2019s spring schedule, 10 bus routes will operate past midnight:<\/p>\n<p>D10: Panet \u2013 Adsum<br \/>\nD14: Dugald \u2013 Broadway<br \/>\nD16: Academy \u2013 Notre Dame<br \/>\nD17: Talbot \u2013 Selkirk<br \/>\n28: Arlington \u2013 Stafford<br \/>\n38: Mountain \u2013 Munroe<br \/>\n43: Watt \u2013 Logan<br \/>\n70: Roblin<br \/>\n74: Kenaston \u2013 Keewatin<br \/>\n680: River Heights \u2013 Cambridge<\/p>\n<p>More trips will be added to the following routes:<\/p>\n<p>The F5 line, which runs on Notre Dame Avenue and McPhillips Street.<br \/>\nThe F8 line, along Pembina Highway and Henderson Highway.<br \/>\nBuses will be added on route 74 between CF Polo Park and Old Commonwealth Path.<br \/>\nRoute 557, which serves South Osborne, Southdale, Island Lakes, and Sage Creek.<br \/>\nOn Route 676 from St. Vital Centre to Bridgwater Centre, and from St. Vital Centre to Creek Bend Road.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be fewer FX3 Regent \u2013 Grant buses east of Kildonan Place and FX4 Gateway \u2013 Portage buses north of McLeod Avenue, due to lower-than-expected ridership, the City of Winnipeg said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese changes have been guided by the great feedback we continue to receive from Winnipeggers,\u201d the city\u2019s news release said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Staff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Winnipeg Transit is adding rides and post-midnight service to routes across the city.
