Following the announcement four weeks ago<\/a>, the Pixel Watch March 2026 update is now available for the LTE variants.<\/p>\n

Pixel Watch 2, 3 & 4 (Bluetooth\/Wi-Fi): CP1A.260305.014.W2<\/p>\n

Pixel Watch 2, 3 & 4 (4G LTE + Bluetooth\/Wi-Fi): CP1A.260305.014.W4<\/p>\n

This update first<\/a> rolled out to the Bluetooth\/Wi-Fi models, with factory and OTA images for the LTE variants now available on Google\u2019s site<\/a>. It\u2019s listed as \u201cApr 2026,\u201d though the build number is identical to the one Google listed ahead of time four weeks ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can sideload using the included cable on the Pixel Watch 2 and 3, but the Pixel Watch 4 requires a debug adapter that is not widely available.<\/p>\n

For some, repeatedly tapping Settings > System > System updates is pulling the OTA, but this is not working for everyone just yet.<\/p>\n

Express Pay on the Pixel Watch 2 and newer saves you from having to first open the Google Wallet app. Google is using \u201cadvanced motion algorithms [that] help ensure payments only succeed when you intend to pay.\u201d Your watch must be unlocked and Express Pay must be enabled ahead of time.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll now get standalone Earthquake alerts directly on the Pixel Watch \u201cwithout an active connection to your smartphone, if your device is connected via Wi-Fi or LTE.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the Pixel Watch 2+ and Pixel 8+, \u201cNotify when left behind\u201d will trigger an alert when \u201cyou leave your phone behind and go to a different location.\u201d<\/p>\n

To avoid unnecessary notifications, your watch will not notify you if you\u2019re still nearby, even if Bluetooth disconnects. For example, you will not get a notification when walking from your living room to your bedroom. You\u2019ll get a notification only when you have significantly changed your location.<\/p>\n

To enable, open the companion app > Watch Preferences > Security > Notify when left behind.<\/p>\n

Additionally, your phone can now automatically lock if the watch moves out of Bluetooth range. Go to Watch Preferences > Security > Lock phone when left behind.<\/p>\n

On the Pixel Watch 3+ and Pixel 8 Pro+ (A-Series excluded), your wearable can be used to verify Identity Checks.<\/p>\n

The one-handed gestures introduced on the PW4 are now available on the Pixel Watch 3.<\/p>\n

Finally, Pixel Watch Satellite SOS is now available in Europe, Canada, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii.<\/p>\n
