A Mississauga man is facing dozens of charges after Peel Regional Police (PRP) linked him to a months\u2011long string of commercial break\u2011and\u2011enters that targeted businesses across the region and resulted in roughly $200,000 in stolen computer equipment.<\/p>\n
Investigators with the Break and Enter Auto Response (BEAR) Unit say the offences occurred between September 2025 and February 2026, when a pattern of overnight break\u2011ins began emerging at businesses in Mississauga, Brampton and surrounding areas. <\/p>\n
In one particular instance, police allege the suspect broke into a Mississauga business and stole 15 laptops valued at $35,000. As the investigation expanded, officers coordinated with the Toronto Police Service (TPS) and the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), which reported comparable incidents in their jurisdictions.<\/p>\n
On March 24, PRP investigators received assistance from multiple police services \u2014 including Kingston Police, Ottawa Police, Cornwall Community Police, and VIA Rail security \u2014 after learning the suspect was travelling eastbound by train.<\/p>\n
Officers boarded the train and arrested Kenneth Levy, a 39\u2011year\u2011old man from Mississauga, who police allege is responsible for 31 break\u2011and\u2011enter offences in Peel Region alone.<\/p>\n
Levy has been charged with 62 criminal offences, including 27 counts of break and enter and commit an indictable offence and 27 counts of disguise with intent.<\/p>\n
