Roseanne Barr<\/a>\u00a0received a stark diagnosis \u2014 a \u201cdamaged\u201d heart \u2014 a warning that left her fearing she could \u201cdie on the surgery table.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barr, 73, opened up about her health while talking about the \u201cponytail facelift\u201d she wanted to get.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis doctor says I have to go get my heart checked out because it\u2019s damaged,\u201d the actress said during an appearance on her podcast, \u201cThe Roseanne Barr Podcast.\u201d<\/a> \u201cSo now I\u2019m so pissed. Because I\u2019m like, I need a new doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s always sending me to other doctors to check me out,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, why do I have to go find something wrong when nothing\u2019s wrong and then get in shape just so I can have surgery and die on the surgery table?\u201d<\/p>\n

Barr doubled down, saying the prospect of surgery didn\u2019t make sense to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, it doesn\u2019t make any sense,\u201d she said. \u201cI would rather not get ready for any sort of surgery ever again in my life and just, you know, get a heart attack or a stroke and then just be put into the home. What do they call that place? Hospice.\u201d<\/p>\n

The candid remarks offered a glimpse into her mindset on aging and end-of-life care, a contrast to the more grounded, day-to-day life she\u2019s built in recent years. Barr opened up about her move to\u00a0Texas\u00a0and the joys she\u2019s experienced since making the lifestyle change and being outdoors in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n

Although it has been a \u201cdream come true\u201d for the \u201cRoseanne Barr is America\u201d star, Barr shared that while mowing her property, her tractor fell on top of her and trapped her underneath the weight of the machine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing a lot of mowing. I\u2019ve got a really fantastic tractor out here, and I\u2019m mowing. The only problem is I don\u2019t clear the trees quite as good as I should, and I\u2019m always hitting a tree and knocking it over, and it always hits me in the head.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I\u2019ve had several injuries recently. I had this one tree \u2026 I knocked it and a great big old branch fell right on my head and trapped me in my tractor,\u201d Barr said. \u201cSo I knew I had to get out of there, and it weighed about a hundred pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barr explained that it took her an hour to move the tree \u201cinch by inch\u201d before she was able to flip it over.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the release of the documentary, \u201cRoseanne Barr is America,\u201d in 2025, Barr told Fox News Digital that her life is a representation of the American experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went from poverty to wealth through comedy. That\u2019s a typical Jewish-American experience in my generation and a few other generations for minority people that are funny. I think it\u2019s typical, you know,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

A stand-up comic turned household name, Barr skyrocketed to fame with her hit ABC sitcom \u201cRoseanne.\u201d In 2018, Barr was essentially canceled after tweeting a racist remark<\/a> about\u00a0Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.<\/p>\n

Barr faced an\u00a0onslaught of backlash\u00a0for the tweet, leading to smears from her co-stars and ABC canceling the revival of her hit namesake show \u201cRoseanne,\u201d instead televising the spin-off series \u201cThe Conners.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The comedian admitted she doesn\u2019t keep in touch with any of her former co-stars.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I\u2019m not friends with none of them,\u201d Barr told Fox News Digital. \u201cThey\u2019re all in the past. I have pleasant memories of what fun we had \u2014 wish them all the best. And no, we don\u2019t talk. I\u2019ve moved on from that horrendous ending and chapter of my life, but you know, I don\u2019t hold any bitterness or nothing to them, but my God, what fun we had on that show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I was sorry they f\u2014ed it all up with their greed and ridiculous stupidity to f\u2014 all that up.
