A song that defined a moment in Heated Rivalry is now making its way to the dance floor in Montreal.<\/p>\n

U.K. DJ and producer Harrison will perform at Le Belmont on Thursday night as part of his HARRISON \u201cHEATED\u201d tour, bringing with him the viral remix of All the Things She Said \u2014 a track that surged in popularity after being featured in the hit series.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never expected it,\u201d Harrison said. \u201cIt became the most viral song in the world \u2014 number one in Canada, number one in America. And yeah, it just keeps getting bigger all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

From television moment to global momentum<\/p>\n

The remix, originally released in 2022, found a new audience after it was selected for a pivotal club scene in Heated Rivalry. Harrison said the opportunity came directly from the show\u2019s director, who reached out to include the track.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way that it got into Heated Rivalry was because Jacob, the director of Heated Rivalry, contacted me and asked whether I could use my song in one of his dance scenes for a Canadian hockey show,\u201d he said. \u201cSo obviously, I said yes. And he kind of explained that it was going to go into the club scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, Harrison said he didn\u2019t realize how central the song would become to the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe never really explained how important it would be in the scene or what it would mean. So when I was watching it for the first time, I was kind of watching it like everybody else.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrison\u2019s connection to dance music goes back to his teenage years. He recalled writing his first song at 18 with David Guetta, which by chance became a big dance anthem and helped introduce him to the industry. \u201cEver since then, I\u2019ve just been in love with dance music,\u201d he said, noting that he\u2019s continued producing as many tracks and remixes as possible.<\/p>\n

A scene that struck a chord<\/p>\n

The now well-known sequence begins with the original version of the song by t.A.T.u. before blending into Harrison\u2019s remix, underscoring a tense exchange between the show\u2019s central characters, Shane and Ilya, as they share lingering glances on a crowded dance floor with other partners.<\/p>\n

For Harrison, the track carried a sense of familiarity long before it became a viral hit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always loved it,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was something that stuck in my head from a child, I guess, watching it on MTV, watching the music video and that kind of thing. I never really realized it was going to be as big as it became.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that the decision to remix the song felt instinctive.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething was always telling me, \u2018You\u2019ve got to do the song. You\u2019ve got to do the song.\u2019 Thank goodness that I did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans around the world quickly embraced it. \u201cI saw all of the other parties that were being done every day,\u201d Harrison said. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of Heated Rivalry parties around the world, and they were all using my song on the screen and dancing to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Turning viral success into a live experience<\/p>\n

The renewed attention helped introduce Harrison\u2019s broader catalogue to new listeners \u2014 something he is now bringing to audiences across Canada through his tour.<\/p>\n

\u201cI figured that it made sense to kind of give the fans what they want,\u201d he said. \u201cLet them dance for real, and let them be Shane and Ilya in real life.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the show nods to Heated Rivalry, Harrison said it is really about showcasing his full body of work.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, it\u2019s a Harrison show. It\u2019s my full back catalog of music and everything I\u2019ve been working on for the last 15 years,\u201d he said. \u201cI wanted to make a Harrison show with a nod to Heated Rivalry, but also show that my music is bigger than just that moment. A lot of people became Harrison fans through the other tracks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Montreal stop part of cross-country run<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s Montreal performance is one of several stops on his Canadian tour, following an earlier show and leading into additional dates across the country.<\/p>\n

Harrison said he\u2019s looking forward to bringing the experience to the city and connecting with fans in person.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can stand at Le Belmont and watch a full Harrison Heated show and experience it for real,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m very excited to be in Montreal\u2026 if you want to come, come and join it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrison is also using the tour to introduce new music. He recently collaborated with The Veronicas on a re-recorded version of their song Untouched, which he will debut on the tour. \u201cIt\u2019s going to come out next month, I will be playing it,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

A shared moment for fans<\/p>\n

As the tour continues, Harrison said the goal is to recreate the feeling that made the song resonate in the first place \u2014 this time, in a live setting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll have a great energy, and it\u2019s going to be a very special place full of like-minded people.\u201d<\/p>\n
