As part of a push to celebrate their 55th anniversary, Vermeer Midwest will partner with Zane Smith and the No. 38 Ford Mustang Dark Horse team for the NASCAR Cup Series return to Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, July 5. The collaboration will highlight a range of new products and provide an opportunity to connect with both customers and NASCAR fans, with Smith also sporting a revamped scheme for America’s 250th anniversary.

Founded in 1971 by Junior and Bev Kool in Eureka, Illinois, Vermeer Midwest has grown into a trusted equipment provider across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Missouri, serving industries including utility installation, landscaping, tree care, recycling, and vacuum excavation.

“It’s great to have Vermeer Midwest return to our race program,” said Smith. “They were on board our Ford at Chicago when we finished 14th, so it would be great to give them another solid result at their home track.”

“This partnership is about celebrating the people who build America, on the jobsite and in our communities”, said Steve Kool, CEO. “As we mark 55 years of serving customers across the Midwest, and as our country celebrates its 250th anniversary, we’re proud to partner with NASCAR and sponsor Zane Smith. It’s an opportunity to connect with our customers, celebrate our people, and share the pride we have in supporting the work that keeps this country moving.”

Fans can watch Smith and the No. 38 Vermeer Midwest Ford Mustang Dark Horse compete for the checkered flag on Sunday, July 5th at 6:00 pm ET on TNT Sports. Fans can also listen in on the action from SirusXM Channel 90 and the Motor Racing Network.
