Katherine Schwarzenegger sparked a debate with fans after she praised her husband, Chris Pratt, for building a dollhouse for their daughters.<\/p>\n
The \u201cKat and Brandy\u201d author <\/a>recently took to Instagram<\/a> to share a video of the actor getting his hands dirty while working on the homemade project.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll never understand when women say, \u2018I don\u2019t need my husband\u2019 when I very much in fact do need my husband because who else would build our daughters a dollhouse?\u201d she wrote over the clip set to Olivia Dean\u2019s \u201cMan I Need.\u201d<\/p>\n Katherine Schwarzenegger (seen here) caused a divide amongst fans after she praised her husband, Chris Pratt, for building their daughters a dollhouse. katherineschwarzenegger\/Instagram<\/p>\n In a recent Instagram video, the author shared a clip of the actor working on the homemade project. Katherine Schwarzenegger\/Instagram<\/p>\n Schwarzenegger, 36, also gushed over Pratt, 46, in the caption, writing, \u201cWhen you have a golden retriever husband >>>.\u201d<\/p>\n While the New York Times best-selling author was merely showing appreciation for the Marvel star, her remarks rubbed some critics the wrong way.<\/p>\n \u201cWives and women can build doll houses, too,\u201d one person wrote, as another added, \u201cWomen can do that. We can buy our own homes and vote, too! \ud83d\ude09.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll never understand when women say, \u2018I don\u2019t need my husband\u2019 when I very much in fact do need my husband because who else would build our daughters a dollhouse?\u201d she wrote over the video. It ain\u2019t a competition \ud83d\ude02.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is fantastic \u2764\ufe0f the girls will live it and treasure it because Dad made a special place for them. \ud83c\udfe1\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d a second wrote, as another agreed their kids would \u201cnever forget it.\u201d <\/p>\n The post rubbed some critics the wrong way.
