Here\u2019s a rundown of what\u2019s open, closed or operating on a reduced schedule for Good Friday (April 3), Easter Sunday (April 5) and Easter Monday (April 6) in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n

Civic Offices<\/p>\n

Closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, 2026.<\/p>\n

Shopping Centres<\/p>\n

St. Vital Centre \u2014 Open on Friday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Sunday, April 5
\nPolo Park \u2014 Open on Friday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
\nOutlet Collection Winnipeg \u2014 Open on Friday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Sunday, April 5
\nKildonan Place \u2014 Open on Friday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Sunday, April 5
\nGrant Park \u2014 Open on Friday, April 3 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Sunday, April 5<\/p>\n

Manitoba Liquor Marts<\/p>\n

All Manitoba Liquor Marts will be open for reduced hours on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5. For specific store hours throughout the weekend, visit liquormarts.ca\/hours<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Attractions<\/p>\n

Manitoba Museum \u2014 Open on Friday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. but closed on Easter Monday.
\nAssiniboine Park Zoo \u2014 Open daily all weekend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
\nWinnipeg Art Gallery \u2014 Closed on Friday, April 3 and Easter Monday. The WAG will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 5.
\nCanadian Museum for Human Rights is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5, but closed Easter Monday.<\/p>\n

Recycling\/Garbage Collection<\/p>\n

Recycling and garbage will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Friday and Monday as their collection day.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg Transit<\/p>\n

On Friday, April 3, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.<\/p>\n

The Animal Services Agency will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6. The Agency will be open regular business hours on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, from noon until 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

Cemeteries<\/p>\n

Brookside, Transcona, and St. Vital cemeteries will remain open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; however, the administration office at Brookside Cemetery will be closed as of Friday, April 3, reopening on Tuesday, April 7.<\/p>\n
