<\/p>\nFreedom Mobile rolled out some fresh deals for Easter Weekend, adding extra data to several plans.<\/p>\n
Here are the changes Freedom made:<\/p>\n
$35\/25GB (previously $35\/10GB)
\n$40\/100GB (previously $40\/60GB)
\n$50\/175GB (previously $50\/100GB)
\n$60\/250GB (previously $60\/150GB)<\/p>\n

Aside from the extra data, the plans offer the same features as before. That means they all include 5G data, usage in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, and Roam Beyond in over 120 destinations with separate roaming data allotments and unlimited roaming talk and text.<\/p>\n
Prices include Freedom\u2019s autopay discount (dubbed Digital Discount). Moreover, Freedom notes that every offer except the $35\/25GB plan will end on April 7. While the $35\/25GB plan doesn\u2019t have a listed end date, it\u2019s still marked as a limited-time offer, so I\u2019d expect it to go away when the other plans leave on the 7th.<\/p>\n
These new plans come as several Canadian providers wrapped up wireless plan deals at the end of March<\/a>. Throughout the last month, Freedom and other carriers like Koodo, Fido, and Public Mobile battled back and forth with various plan discounts. It remains to be seen if these new plans are the start of another month of pricing wars.<\/p>\n Interestingly, Public Mobile was supposed to offer $40\/100GB and $50\/150GB plans until April 6, but ended the deals days early on April 2<\/a> in order to match Freedom\u2019s plans. Now, Freedom has the better deals. At the time of writing, Public hadn\u2019t updated its plans, but I suspect it will follow Freedom at some point this weekend.<\/p>\n You can check out all of Freedom\u2019s plans on its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
