With Italy eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a>, Canada Soccer is giving heartbroken Azzuri fans a chance to rejoin the fun with Canadian jerseys. <\/p>\n The association is hosting a jersey swap in Toronto\u2019s Little Italy neighbourhood on Saturday, giving soccer fans a chance to swap their Italian jersey for Canadian colours for free. <\/p>\n \u201cSoccer in Canada has been built by generations of players, fans, and communities including Italian-Canadians who\u2019ve helped bring the passion for our game to life,\u201d said Paulo Senra, Chief Communications & Content Officer at Canada Soccer, said in a press release<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWe want every Canadian \u2014 no matter their historic allegiances \u2014 to join the momentum around our men\u2019s national team, because this time, it\u2019s Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n The event is set for 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. outside Caf\u00e9 Diplomatico on College Street in Toronto\u2018s Little Italy.
