{"id":580826,"date":"2026-04-04T02:34:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-04T02:34:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/580826\/"},"modified":"2026-04-04T02:34:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T02:34:07","slug":"new-mel-brooks-josh-gad-movie-sets-release-exclusive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/580826\/","title":{"rendered":"New Mel Brooks, Josh Gad Movie Sets Release (EXCLUSIVE)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Big news here before <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/amazon-mgm-studios\/\" id=\"auto-tag_amazon-mgm-studios\" data-tag=\"amazon-mgm-studios\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon MGM Studios<\/a> takes the stage a second time at Caesars Palace Colosseum and that\u2019s that the new <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/spaceballs\/\" id=\"auto-tag_spaceballs\" data-tag=\"spaceballs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spaceballs<\/a> movie will be rolling into theaters on April 23, 2027. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDon\u2019t underestimate that final weekend of April at the box office, it\u2019s always been rich whether it\u2019s Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Fast Five, or this year\u2019s Michael from Lionsgate. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe feature, directed by Josh Greenbaum (Will &amp; Harper) and written by <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/josh-gad\/\" id=\"auto-tag_josh-gad\" data-tag=\"josh-gad\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Gad<\/a>, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, has a storyline that\u2019s being kept secret, but you can probably figure out that it\u2019s a follow-up to the first 1987 cult <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/mel-brooks\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mel-brooks\" data-tag=\"mel-brooks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mel Brooks<\/a>-directed and starring feature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tReturning cast members include Brooks, Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, George Wynder and Daphne Zuniga with new thespians including Gad, Keke Palmer, Lewis Pullman and Anthony Carrigan. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tProducers are Imagine\u2019s Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Jeb Brody, as well as Brooks, Gad, Greenbaum and Kevin Salter. EPs are\u00a0Adam Merims, Samit, and Hernandez. Production companies are Imagine Entertainment, Brooksfilms Limited and Angry Child Productions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAlso bowing on April 23 next year is Warner Bros\u2019 untitled F.A.S.T. movie from Ben Richardson and starring Brendon Sklenar. The big movie kicking off next summer during the first full weekend of May?
