Swiss member\u2019s Coachella participation remains uncertain<\/p>\n

Speculation is growing over whether Manon of Katseye is leaving the group, after the Swiss member removed the group name from her social media profile Friday.<\/p>\n

As of Friday afternoon, Manon\u2019s Instagram profile reads only \u201cmademoiselle manzanita,\u201d with no mention of Katseye.<\/p>\n

Hybe, which created multinational girl group with Geffen Records, had previously said she was on hiatus due to a health issue.<\/p>\n

The company declined to comment on the more recent speculation. It added Saturday that it remains unclear whether Manon will perform with the group at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Club in California on April 10, as she has been on hiatus since February and no timeline has been given for her return.<\/p>\n

The speculation was further fueled by a recent message Manon posted on fandom platform, Weverse.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much for all the love and support you\u2019ve been sending my way,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI\u2019m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time.”<\/p>\n

Fans remain divided over how to interpret her message. Some caution against overanalyzing what they see as a simple update, while others view the wording as suggestive of a potential departure from Katseye.<\/p>\n

Manon has also previously spoken about the pressures she and her bandmates have faced since Katseye\u2019s debut in June 2024, describing the experience as \u201cvery terrorizing on the mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Katseye is set to release a new single, \u201cPinky Up,\u201d on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The group was put together through the audition project \u201cThe Debut: Dream Academy,\u201d a flagship example of Hybe\u2019s \u201cmulti-home, multi-genre\u201d strategy led by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk.<\/p>\n
