We\u2019ll follow with a game story, photo gallery and video from the post-game press conference.<\/p>\n<p>Article content<\/p>\n<p>Read the recap of our live blog here:<\/p>\n<p data-async=\"\">Sudbury <a data-evt-val=\"{\" control_fields=\"\" link=\"\" enter=\"\" the=\"\" bsl=\"\" post-season=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" data-evt=\"click\" data-evt-typ=\"click\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thesudburystar.com\/sports\/sudbury-five-feeling-good-while-prepping-for-bsl-playoffs\" target=\"_blank\">will enter the BSL post-season<\/a> as the second seed with a record of 17-9, having narrowly ceded top spot to the KW Titans on the final day of the regular season this past weekend. Montreal, which dropped a pair of games in the Nickel City last week, finished a not-too-distant third at 15-11.<\/p>\n<p>While the Five and Toundra meet this week, the Titans will take on the fourth-place Windsor Express in the other semifinal.<\/p>\n<p>The Lake Erie Jackals finished fifth and did not make the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Game 2 of the Sudbury-Montreal series, also hosted by the Five, is scheduled for Saturday at 7:05 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Game 3 and Game 4, if necessary, will be played at Centre Pierre Charbonneau in Montreal next Wednesday and Thursday, both at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Should a fifth contest be needed, it will be back in Sudbury the following Saturday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Five Toundra action\" class=\"embedded-image__image lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/20260326jl20863.su_.jpg\"  height=\"900\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\"\/> Nervens Demosthene of the Sudbury Five drives to the basket during basketball action against the Montreal Toundra at Sudbury Community Arena in Sudbury, Ont. on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
