When future Emmy winner Shemar Moore made his debut as Malcolm in 1994, half brother Neil Winters wanted nothing to do with the budding photographer. Needless to say, a close relationship between the two of them ultimately \u201cdeveloped.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sibling Rivals<\/p>\n

Even after Neil married Drucilla Barber, Malcolm couldn\u2019t get over his crush on the spitfire. One evening, when she\u2019d taken so much cold medicine that she mistook him for her husband \u2014 dang it, NyQuil! \u2014 the twosome had sex.<\/p>\n

A Perfect Match?<\/p>\n

Eager to put the incident in rearview as quickly as possible, Dru convinced herself that baby Lily was Neil\u2019s and had older sister Olivia Barber set up Malcolm with fellow doctor Stephanie Simmons<\/a> (who also returns to Genoa City this week).<\/p>\n

Alas, Malcom and Stephanie\u2019s relationship was short-lived. He soon moved on to Keesha Monroe, who\u2019d had an affair with Olivia\u2019s husband, Nathan Hastings. Malcolm had just forgiven and married Keesha when she succumbed to the ravages of AIDS.<\/p>\n

Daddy Issues<\/p>\n

Following Nathan\u2019s passing, Malcolm took to being a father figure for the deceased and Olivia\u2019s son, Nate. Malcolm also took to Olivia: The twosome tied the knot\u2026 but not tightly enough. Jealousy of Malcolm\u2019s ex Callie Rogers drove Liv to cut the ties that bound.<\/p>\n

Going Down?<\/p>\n

Malcolm was vying with Neil for the affections of Alex Perez when he took the ultimate wrong turn: over a bridge in Kenya that collapsed. For three long years, he was presumed to have died. Spoiler alert: He hadn\u2019t and returned to town ticked that Neil hadn\u2019t looked for him harder!<\/p>\n

\u2018You *Are* the Father!\u2019<\/p>\n

During that comeback, Malcolm forced Dru to find out once and for all whether he\u2019s Lily\u2019s father. As we all know now, he is. Though Malcolm and Dru decided not to upset the apple cart by revealing what they had discovered, Neil and Lily still learn the truth.<\/p>\n

New Face, Who Dis?<\/p>\n

Years later, Malcolm returned again with a new face \u2014 that of Darius McCrary. His life, however, remained the same old mess. His latest lady love Sofia Dupre cheated on him with \u2014 who else? \u2014 Neil and gave birth to his nephew, Moses. #awkward<\/p>\n

The Worst of Times<\/p>\n

When Neil was struck blind during his ill-advised marriage to Hilary Curtis, Malcolm \u2014 once again played by Moore \u2014 passed through town to offer his support. And, of course, he paid his respects upon his brother\u2019s heartbreaking demise.<\/p>\n
