The 104-time polesitter has made his position clear to Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur<\/a> and chairman John Elkann<\/a>, too, as he seeks big changes.<\/p>\n As well as Hamilton giving Ferrari lengthy documents citing the changes he wants<\/a> with their car and operationally, the Briton has also submitted a \u2018request\u2019 to have a more active role in strategic decisions. Hamilton is also \u2018leveraging his vast experience\u2019 to secure more of a say.<\/p>\n Hamilton is eager for Vasseur and Elkann to grant him greater authority over Ferrari\u2019s future car design, but also over the Scuderia\u2019s in-race tactics.
