March was a good month for new restaurants in Vancouver, with many highly anticipated spots<\/a> officially opening their doors. Whether you\u2019re looking for a new late-night date spot or your next favourite cafe, this list has got you covered.<\/p>\n

From a fried chicken and cocktail concept from a top Vancouver cafe to a new neighbourhood bistro, these are 5 must-visit new restaurants to check out.<\/p>\n

Just months after Nemesis was named among the best coffee shops in the world<\/a>\u00a0and following the opening of the first standalone location of its bakery brand\u00a0Dope Bakehouse<\/a> last year, the team has opened Bam Bam, a new all-day concept shaped by design, food, and the cultural moments that define North American nostalgia.<\/p>\n

Expect the same creative bites and sips that Nemesis has been known for, including a focus on fried chicken and donuts. You\u2019ll also find a selection of cocktails like the Apple Pie & Rye, Strawberry Shiso Negroni,\u00a0Pecan Pie Old Fashioned, and\u00a0Hot Honey Margarita, as well as cafe-style drinks including a Cherry Matcha,\u00a0Apple Pie Latte, Strawberry Chocolate Milk, and a range of cream sodas like\u00a0Cherry Cola, Lemon Meringue, and\u00a0Apple Pie.<\/p>\n

Touski<\/p>\n

Touski describes itself as \u201ca day-to-night neighbourhood bistro rooted in European influence.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBy day, Touski functions as a neighbourhood caf\u00e9 \u2014 a \u201ccoffee bar to wine bar\u201d concept \u2014 serving thoughtfully sourced coffee, paired with light fare,\u201d shared the cafe in an email.<\/p>\n

But by night, the space transforms into a share-plate bistro, offering a rotating weekly menu built around French and British classics that are \u201creimagined with playful, generous touches and hyper-local ingredients.\u201d Exact menu offerings have yet to be shared.<\/p>\n

Currently, the space has softly opened its cafe offerings (available Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), while dinner service will softly launch starting April 7.<\/p>\n

Opened at the end of March, Eggstatic is a Toronto-based chain that serves up a selection of Middle Eastern-inspired brunch dishes and has joined the list of now-open Vancouver restaurants.<\/p>\n

Vancouver\u2019s music-themed cafe Octave softly opened its doors on March 31.<\/p>\n

Located at 1328 Richards St., Octave is located at the former home of Matchstick Yaletown (which announced the impending closure<\/a>\u00a0of all of its locations earlier this year).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe treat coffee seriously. We measure carefully, dial in every day, and follow recipes with attention. Milk texture, extraction, and balance are important. Our goal is simple. Every cup should be consistent, clean, and balanced,\u201d wrote the cafe.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a long wait, but the day is finally here: Cream Pony<\/a>\u00a0has officially opened the doors to its Vancouver location.<\/p>\n

For those who haven\u2019t been following along, around this time last year, the much-loved donut and fried chicken purveyor from North Vancouver shared that it would be opening in the home of the former Cartem\u2019s Donuts, which closed its final location<\/a> at the start of 2025.<\/p>\n

Currently, Cream Pony Mount Pleasant is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n
